Can unused Spot cash earn holding rewards between trades?
Eligible long-only, mainnet USDT Spot bots on OKX, OKX Europe and Bitget have an optional Idle Spot cash setting. It is off by default and parks unused USDT in USDG or USDGO with market orders while retaining your configured reserve. You must confirm that your exact account or subaccount qualifies for exchange holding rewards and reconfirm every 30 days. New parking stops at the earlier of your confirmation expiry or a known campaign end, and remains off until current terms are verified. Straterva restores its tracked parked principal before an approved entry. Rewards, rates and campaigns are exchange-controlled, not guaranteed. Fees, spread, depegging or failed conversions can offset rewards or delay entries. The feature does not subscribe to Earn products, stake, borrow, transfer funds or apply to futures. An uncertain conversion must be reconciled by its original exchange client order ID before resubmission. Spot conversions do not qualify for Bitget Convert rebates, and subaccount rewards may be paid to the main account rather than the bot.
Can Straterva show times in my timezone?
Yes. Choose your timezone during signup, or change it under profile menu β Manage account β Time & timezone. Your browser suggests a default. Website timestamps, Telegram and browser alerts, reports and available localized chart images use your saved timezone, including daylight-saving changes. Quiet hours and daily/weekly digests follow your local time. UTC storage, candle boundaries, trading schedules and machine-readable API timestamps stay unchanged. Date-only historical records remain calendar dates. Legacy chart fallbacks can still show UTC and are labelled accordingly.
I am new to trading. Where should I start?
Start with a demo bot and virtual funds. Learn how entries, exits, fees and drawdown work before using real money. Demo results do not guarantee live results; trading can lose money.
Which exchanges can I connect?
The API-key connection catalogue includes Binance, Bybit Global, OKX Global, OKX US, OKX Europe, Bitget, MEXC, Crypto.com Exchange, Coinbase Advanced, Coinbase International, Phemex. Hyperliquid uses a wallet and trading agent. Product and regional eligibility differ: an exchange appearing in the catalogue does not mean every account or market is available. Check the selected exchange instructions and validate your connection.
Are Bybit Global and Bybit Europe the same connection?
No. They use different regional connection requirements. Bybit Global has a connector; Bybit Europe requires approved broker integration and is shown as unavailable until those requirements are met. Do not use Global credentials for a European account.
How does Interactive Brokers connect?
IBKR uses a separate brokerage authorization flow, not a Binance-style API key. Paper and live environments are separate. Connection availability depends on platform configuration, required broker approvals, your account permissions and an active brokerage session. Authorization alone does not activate trading.
Which exchanges can I choose for demo bots?
The demo creation flow offers Binance and Hyperliquid with virtual money. A Straterva demo is not a funded exchange account. IBKR paper trading uses its separate brokerage paper-account connection and permissions.
Can I trade stocks, metals, commodities or indices?
Radar coverage and executable exchange markets are different. The connected account must actually support the selected instrument. Synthetic or tokenized products and perpetual contracts are not the same as owning company shares; do not assume stockholder rights or identical corporate-action treatment. Check the instrument details and local eligibility.
Does Straterva hold my trading funds?
Trading funds remain with your exchange or broker. Straterva submits orders through your authorized connection. Use dedicated trade-only credentials with withdrawals and transfers disabled. Non-custodial trading still carries losses, credential-security risks and exchange risks.
Should I restrict my exchange API key to trusted IP addresses?
Yes, where supported. Copy the current outbound IP shown in the connection flow into the exchange allow-list and save it there. Do not substitute your home IP, the website DNS address or Cloudflare addresses. If the app lists multiple execution IPs, allow each listed address.
Why does a correct Binance key fail validation?
Check the chosen Spot or Futures product, mainnet versus testnet, saved trusted-IP list, Read and Trade permissions, and any regional restrictions. A Binance subaccount must have Futures enabled before Futures access can work. Straterva cannot enable that permission for you. Never send your API secret to support.
Does connecting an account start placing real orders?
No. Connecting verifies access; activation is a separate action. Review the bot environment, account, market, sizing, allowed triggers and limits before explicitly activating it. Real accounts, paper mode and bot readiness are distinct states; read the current bot mode and status, not just its title.
Do I need to leave my computer switched on?
Hosted scanning and execution run on the server, not your browser. Your computer can be off for server-hosted bots. This does not apply to a separately configured local runner. Server or exchange outages, maintenance, queue delays and expired connections can interrupt execution; monitor the Trading Dashboard.
Is Straterva suitable for low-timeframe or high-frequency trading?
STRATERVA is made for retail investors and is not meant for fast or high-frequency trading. Alert delivery, queues, exchange processing, spread, fees and slippage can make rapid trading unsuitable. Read the low-timeframe risk explanation in the bot flow and test carefully before risking funds.
What happens when I stop a bot?
Stopping a bot prevents new execution through that bot. Do not assume it closes existing exchange positions or cancels every open order. Check your positions and orders on the dashboard and exchange, and use an explicit close or cancel action when needed.
How do I connect a TradingView alert?
Create the bot, enable TradingView as an allowed trigger, then copy the webhook URL and the provided message payload from its setup. Configure them in TradingView and send a paper/test alert first. The TradingView account must support webhooks. Keep bot secrets private; an accepted alert is not proof of an exchange fill.
What is Trend Radar, and do I need TradingView for it?
Trend Radar publishes server-scanned HizzAlgo daily and Hizz Ichimoku 4-hour signals. An eligible Radar bot can consume those publications without a TradingView alert. The covered assets, available strategy profiles and account entitlements are shown in the app; coverage is not a guarantee that every asset can be traded on your exchange.
When is a Radar scan complete?
Last scan identifies the completed scan; each strategy publication time identifies its published dataset. These can differ. The next scheduled scan is a schedule indicator, not a promise of completion. A candle timestamp can represent the start of a daily or 4-hour candle rather than the publication time. Check freshness and worker status if data stops updating.
What do Generalized, Optimized and confluence mean?
Generalized uses the common strategy profile. Optimized resolves the asset override, assigned cluster or fallback profile shown in the app. Confluence means daily and 4-hour directions agree; it is not a guarantee of a profitable entry. Optimization is historical research and can overfit.
What does a Multi-Wallet Radar Bot do?
It allocates funds across selected assets using the configured Radar strategy, allocations and rules. In the multi-wallet flow, use the dedicated account or wallet required for each bot. Virtual allocations do not create exchange subaccounts for you. Live operation also requires available funds, eligible symbols, market minimums and an activated execution path.
Are orders market orders, and can I open shorts?
Execution uses market orders, or market-style immediate-or-cancel execution where the venue requires it. Fills are not guaranteed at the signal price and can be partial or rejected. Spot bots are long/flat, not short-selling bots. Futures shorts require the supported account mode and permissions; IBKR short availability also depends on the instrument, borrow availability and account permissions.
What is the minimum order size and trading fee?
Exchange cards show market-order minimum guidance and taker-fee estimates or ranges. Actual symbol filters, quantity precision, account tier and regional rules determine the accepted order and fee. Funding, spread, slippage and other applicable charges are separate. A displayed estimate is not a guaranteed maximum total cost.
Does each bot need its own subaccount?
Use the dedicated account or wallet required by the selected flow. Some live flows prevent reusing a connection already assigned to a bot. Create subaccounts on the exchange yourself; availability and quotas depend on the exchange and your account. The exchange cards provide guidance, not an entitlement to create that many accounts.
What is the difference between a Radar snapshot and a live chart?
A snapshot is a saved chart tied to a particular scan, strategy and profile. It does not update with every price tick. A live chart shows current chart data and may differ from that saved publication. Snapshots include the official Straterva.com watermark without covering the data plot.
Do backtests guarantee future returns?
No. Backtests and research simulations use historical data and their stated assumptions. Fees, slippage, funding treatment and date ranges depend on the specific result; inspect the report rather than assuming every cost is included. Live execution, liquidity and market conditions can produce different results, including losses.
How do I know a trade actually executed?
Check the bot activity, order status and confirmed fill, then reconcile with your exchange or broker. A queued signal, successful webhook response or notification is not itself a filled order. The Trading Dashboard separates demo and real environments and displays worker readiness.
Do I need Claude or another AI subscription to run an MCP / AI bot?
No. When you create an MCP / AI bot you choose who runs it. "Automatically on Straterva" (the default) runs the published strategy on our servers right after every Radar scan and places the trades, with no AI subscription. "With Claude" runs the same strategy from a prompt in your own Claude routine through the Straterva connector, which adds conversation and lets you add your own rules. Both use the same strategy numbers and the same server risk checks. Only one runs a bot at a time, so a scan is never traded twice; switch under AI Trading & MCP β Routines. Automatic runs need a perpetual account on Hyperliquid or a supported exchange.
What is Autopilot and what does it cost?
Autopilot runs your MCP / AI bots on Straterva after every Radar scan, so you do not need a Claude subscription, and sends a full run report to your alerts after every run. It is included in the Plus plan ($35/month), in Pro and in the 15-day Pro trial. Plus is Basic that runs itself: everything in Basic, plus Autopilot, Telegram Radar alerts for the top 50 coins and live trading on up to 5 exchanges. The former Autopilot add-on for Basic is no longer sold; add-ons already paid keep working until they expire, and their unused days are credited when you upgrade to Plus. If Autopilot is not active, those bots are not run after scans and you get an alert; open positions are left unchanged, nothing is sold, and they resume as soon as Autopilot is active again. Running AI bots with your own Claude stays available on every paid plan.
How do I receive the report after an AI bot runs?
Every automatic run records a report under AI Trading & MCP β Routines, and sends an AI routine alert to your in-app inbox and, if connected, Telegram and browser push, listing the exits, entries and skipped coins. Runs with no changes stay in the inbox only. Each filled order also sends its own bot execution alert, and a plan that needs approval sends an approval alert. With Claude, a summary alert is sent when Claude submits its plan, and Claude writes its full report in its routine. Add a report email under Routines (or configure send-email for Claude) to also receive the full report by email. Choose which alerts reach Telegram under Notifications.
What happens to my AI bot when a strategy is improved?
Automatic bots use the updated rules from the next Radar scan; nothing to do. A bot run with Claude keeps its copied prompt, which reports itself as outdated, until you copy the new prompt from the botβs MCP tab into your Claude routine. Owners of affected bots get one alert per update, and the strategy card marks a backtest that was computed for the previous rules until it is refreshed.
What can AI assistants do through MCP?
Authorized assistants can access permitted Radar and bot information and submit supported plans or signals. Server-side authorization, approvals, bot state and risk checks still apply. MCP access does not bypass trading permissions or guarantee order execution. Review AI-generated decisions; AI can make mistakes.
How do I connect Telegram?
Sign in, open Notifications β Channels & Alert Settings, and choose Connect Telegram. Open the generated link and press Start in the bot conversation. Return to Straterva and confirm the connected state, then send a test. Sending a plain /start without the pairing link does not connect your Straterva account.
Why does Telegram say the connection link expired?
Pairing links expire and are single-use. Generate a new link from the signed-in Straterva account and open that exact link. Do not reuse an old link or share it. If pairing still fails, report the error and approximate time to support without sharing secrets.
Can I choose which Radar assets send alerts?
All Radar assets is the default scope for enabled Radar alert categories. Choose Custom in notification settings or the Radar Telegram settings and select assets. An empty Custom list pauses Radar alerts. Asset filtering does not suppress important account, order or safety notifications. Alert types must also be enabled.
Do Telegram alerts include chart snapshots?
Eligible Radar alerts include the saved chart for the matching scan, asset, strategy and profile when available and enabled. The chart carries Straterva.com branding. If the image is unavailable or delivery fails, a text fallback can be used. Order, account and summary alerts do not necessarily include charts.
Why did I not receive an alert?
Check Telegram connection, enabled categories, All/Custom asset scope, quiet hours (your account timezone), current plan access and notification worker health. A scan does not send every unchanged row again; alerts depend on supported events. Compare the app inbox and send a test. Browser push separately requires browser permission; email is not implied by enabling Telegram.
Which notification types can I control?
Notification settings include supported Radar flips, status changes, breakouts, daily trend changes and confluence, plus execution, risk, connection health, AI routines, approvals and security. Enable only the categories you want. A category needs a qualifying event; turning it on does not generate historical alerts or make an unconfigured feature active.
Are the app inbox, Telegram and AI summaries connected?
Supported events use the central notification flow, with separate channel preferences and delivery outcomes. Telegram needs pairing; browser push needs permission. AI routine reports, daily MCP summaries and weekly performance digests depend on their enabled settings and available activity. Not every event goes to every channel, and a daily summary is not a trade instruction.
Can I use Straterva on my phone and switch its appearance?
The app supports mobile layouts and light/dark appearance controls in the header or profile menu. Wide tables can still require horizontal scrolling to see every column. If content is clipped or scrolling gets stuck, report the page and your device/browser through Help Center.
What plans are available?
Every account starts with a 15-day Pro trial whose clock starts with the account's first bot trade (demo or live), not at sign-up; afterwards it keeps the Free plan (one live bot and one demo bot, HizzAlgo on the top 5 crypto coins of the Trend Radar, in-app bot trade alerts) unless it upgrades. The paid plans are Basic, Plus and Pro. Basic: up to 25 bots, live on up to 3 exchanges. Plus: Basic with Autopilot, top-50 Telegram alerts and up to 5 exchanges. Pro: up to 150 bots on every exchange, plus Hizz Ichimoku 4H, all markets and the TradingView scripts. Plans limit exchanges, not accounts: every live bot has its own account or sub-account, and you can add as many as you like on an exchange you already trade on; demo and testnet never count. Bots are counted in slots: each TradingView, MCP/AI or IBKR bot uses one, and a Multi-Wallet Radar bot uses one per coin. Demo and live bots both count. Your Subscription page shows current prices, access, billing options and account status; exchange charges are separate. Regular subscriptions require verified connected real capital below $25,000. From $25,000 to below $100,000, Performance costs $69/month plus 12% of new realized net profit; from $100,000 to below $500,000, Performance Plus costs $99 plus 10%; from $500,000, Private costs $249 plus 8%. Capital uses the highest verified total across connected real accounts in the last 30 days. Deposits are excluded from profit and a high-water mark protects loss recovery.
How do I upgrade, downgrade or cancel?
Open Pricing and pick any plan. An upgrade starts as soon as its payment is approved, and the unused days of your current plan are credited, so you only pay the difference (if the credit covers it, the switch is instant). A downgrade or renewal starts when your current plan ends, so no paid day is lost; if the lower plan covers fewer exchanges, you choose which ones stay live and bots on the others pause with their positions untouched. To go back to Free, use Cancel renewal on your Account page: the plan simply ends at its expiry date, and you can undo it any time before.
How much capital should I trade with for a plan to be worth it?
A plan is a fixed monthly cost, while strategy profits grow with the amount traded, so it pays for itself when it costs about 1% of your account per month. As a guide: practise free with a demo bot; $300+ to learn live trading with small positions (at that size the plan usually costs more than the strategy earns); $2,500+ on Basic or $7,000+ on Pro where a plan can realistically pay for itself ($1,900 / $5,200 with yearly billing); and $10,000+ for 8 to 10 positions where fees and exchange minimums stop mattering. For MCP / AI portfolio bots we suggest starting with at least $2,000: the strategy places orders as small as 1% of the account, and below that amount some of them fall under exchange minimum order sizes and are skipped. It is a recommendation, not a requirement; smaller accounts can still trade. Only trade money you can leave untouched through a 25β40% drawdown, and give a strategy at least 3 to 6 months. These suggested minimums do not replace mandatory pricing limits: regular plans cover under $25,000 in verified connected real equity; from $25,000 a Performance agreement is required. This is not personal financial advice.
How do I subscribe, and is payment approval instant?
Open Subscriptions from the profile menu, choose a plan and billing cycle, and follow the currently enabled payment instructions. Payment requests can require review; submitting a request is not the same as an active subscription. Confirm your plan status before assuming upgraded access.
How do TradingView invite-only scripts become available?
Use the TradingView access request shown for your eligible plan and provide the correct TradingView username. Access can require verification and approval; it is not necessarily instant. Script access and TradingView webhook or subscription capabilities are separate.
How do I change my password or delete my account?
Open the profile menu β Manage account. Follow the password-change or account-deletion flow and read the confirmation carefully. Before deletion, stop bots, review outstanding positions and orders, and revoke exchange keys or trading agents. Deleting Straterva access does not close your exchange account or guarantee that positions are closed.
How do I report a connection or alert problem?
Use Help Center chat or the listed support email. Include the page, exchange, paper/live environment, approximate time, sanitized error and request ID if available. Never share passwords, API secrets, wallet seed phrases or webhook tokens. Support response times depend on availability.
Workspace guide
Why did a trade happen?
Open a result in Trade history or an event in Logs / Activity to see its recorded reason, status and costs. A received or processed signal is not proof of a fill.
Entry: a qualifying strategy signal. Exit: a strategy exit, a manual close or a triggered protection. Skipped: no order was needed or a rule blocked it; inspect the recorded reason.
Navigation and controls
Use the main workspace tabs for frequent tasks and More sections for advanced tools. Expand details when needed. Only the bot title opens its workspace; selecting another part of a row highlights it.
